My Mom, who is 92 used Downsize My Home to move into assisted living. She was moving from a place that she lived in for 20 years. All the. People that my Mom and I dealt with were very professional and very caring. They treated my Mom like she was a relative of their own. First, I would give Downsize My Home 10 out of 5 stars!I can’t say enough wonderful things about Kim and her crew. Every person we worked with was compassionate, understanding, incredibly patient and fun. My mom moved into independent living and we had to downsize over 50 years of accumulated stuff. It seemed impossible to do and miraculously, it happened. Niki and Christine were the miracles.
On moving day one of my mom’s new neighbors took her aside and remarked on what wonderful women she had moving her in. I whole heatedly recommend using Downsize for My home for any move, but especially for help moving aging parents. They are the best!

These ladies are amazing, a veritable well oiled machine. I have ;moved 15 times in the last 40 years and thought I knew most of what there is to know about moving. But their level of organization just out-classed my years of experience. Unlike moving companies, they have a sort and purge phase. I think that is the hardest part, yet it was a breeze with Elise. They are punctual, organized, professional and ready to work. And worth every penny (and cheaper than the packers from the moving company). I would recommend for anyone who needs help with such a gargantuan task.

Kim and her team were instrumental in making my Dad's move from Austin to Dallas a positive one. As everyone says, this can be a major disruptive event, sometimes even a traumatic one. The team's knowledge of the process, the step by step design of the process, and the execution of those steps were all awesome.
The team was very cheerful and pleasant to be around. They helped my father "decide" to leave some things behind as he moved from a 4,000 sq ft house to a two-bedroom apartment.
An example of the detailed service provided is that Kim got the layout of Dad's apartment along with dimensions, worked out sketches of where to place the furniture, and then reviewed it with Dad. Kim went above and beyond and found a company who would unpack and set Dad up in Dallas. When Dad arrived at the apartment, it looked like he was already living there.
